Society of Indian Physiotherapist in association with Amar Jyoti Institute of Physiotherapy conducted a one of its kind workshop on- Understanding the role of vestibular and visual system in neurodevelopment disabilities on 9th and 10th of April,2022. The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Asha Chitnis, certified NDT instructor & Founder and Director of Vedanta Pediatric center, Mumbai.
There was overwhelming response to this hybrid mode workshop. Participents were from various cities across India. Final year BPT AND MPT students form Amar Jyoti institute of physiotherapy and Practicing therapist from Delhi NCR attended workshop physically. Total of 37 participants were present.
The highlight of the workshop was demonstration of Assessment and treatment on live patients of variety of neurodevelopmental disabilities. She demonstrated the techniques on 7 pediatric patients age ranging from less than 2 year to 10 years.
