Report: Introductory Session on the SKY Program at AJIPT

Coordinator and Convenor: On the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day, Dr. Mansi Mittal, Officiating Principal of AJIPT, coordinated an introductory session on the SKY Program for the clinical and academic faculty of the institute.

Introduction
This session was held as part of the University of Delhi’s alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. University of Delhi has entered into a Memorandum of
Agreement (MoA) with The Art of Living under the initiative of Har Ghar Dhyan in connection with imparting programmes to develop skills & capacities of students, teaching and nonteaching staff towards health & well-being at University of Delhi for promoting mental health, fitness, psycho-social well-being and for building associated skills & capacities.

The SKY Program
The SKY Program, a core offering of The Art of Living, is designed to enhance mental and physical health through meditation, breathing techniques, and Sudarshan Kriya yoga. The program aims to address various aspects of well-being, including stress reduction, improved focus, and increased emotional resilience.

The Introductory Session
The introductory session was conducted by Mrs. Diksha Mittal and Mrs. Amrita Arora, who focused on the significance of the SKY Program and its potential benefits for students. The session included:

Demonstrations: Participants were guided through meditation and breathing techniques to experience the immediate effects of these practices.

Video Presentations: Short videos were shown featuring students from Yale College who participated in an RCT study conducted by Emma Seppala. The videos highlighted the positive impact of the SKY Program on student burnout and overall well-being.

Q&A Session: A lively question and answer session followed the presentation, allowing participants to seek clarification. Resource Person addressed queries with expertise,
further enriching the learning experience for attendees. The interactive nature of the session facilitated engaging discussions and enabled participants to ask their doubts
