Amar Jyoti Institute of Physiotherapy (University of Delhi) under the aegis of Amar Jyoti Charitable Trust organized a one day free physiotherapy camp at Bodh Vihar, Nathu Colony, Shahdara on 3rd September 2022. It was held in the morning session from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The camp was organized with the objective of providing awareness, examination/check-up, exercises and advices to the community. It included free bone mineral density testing for every subject. Around 50 subjects came for the camp with various complains of orthopaedic issues. Ninety five percent and above subjects were diagnosed with osteopenia using portable ultrasound bone densitometer. In addition to these, some gynaecological issues like pelvic inflammatory disorders were also addressed in the camp by the female subjects.
This camp was conducted by Dr. Tarun Kumar (PT), Dr. Mansi Mittal (PT), Dr. Jeyanthi S, and Interns.The camp accomplished its goal of creating awareness among the community.
